New Business

• Orientation Brainstorming From last weeks meeting:
Explain OWS, Causes of Poverty and Violence in the World, History of Movement, Arab Spring, History of our OSR Movement, talk about October 15, camping, cops situation, go into nitty gritty about WGs. Have sign ups of WG and teach consensus model and inform about agreement. What if we allow a broad discussion about ideas after the orientation? All said Yay!

• Ideas for Orientation:

Brief History of OWS and Arab Spring and Greece and London- they covered a little bit about lead up and can work on more. History of Consensus. Tess wrote a great thing about OSR and the process of the GAs.
Brief History of OSR Inception, Important dates for OSR- Does anyone have a history of OSR inception. Jesse volunteered to get info for initial people. Important Dates: October 15th- First big march; October 29 announcement, All City Council Dates, Permit Acceptance Meeting, Issuance and Decline. Eviction and Raid Dates. Black Friday- Buy nothing day, PD covered another large march, juliard park event ,Jan 6, Piz for Pens, Major Actions. Other groups that worked along side with OSR: Food not Bombs, ACLU, PJC, AFC, Share Exchange? Unitarian Church, Facilitation Trainings. 1st per capita nation wide on 1st March and 6th largest overall nationwide, Talk about how a whole lot of people pitched in to clean and Soco Health and Fire said we were doing a good job- get City Council Meetings where the officials said we were doing a good job.
Current OSR Activities: Outreach will let people know about all upcoming events at the OSR Orientations.
Plug people into WGs, example: Free School Teach Ins
• Google Groups: Proposal for Google Group to be just for minutes and notes and important stuff at least for now- All 5 consensed. Jesse will try to have a flash drive with mins, etc. at outreach meetings.
